If you’re a little older, you might remember the saying, “Keeping up with the Joneses.” Nowadays it’s about “Keeping up with the Kardashians.” Either way, they’re both old news.
One thing we can all agree to is that it’s hard to keep up with technology. Do you remember when you got yourself the latest smartphone? At the time, you were so excited and after a month or so you realized you had fallen behind the pack, again. Trying to keep up with technology is a never ending road. There is always something new…a new software version update, a new gadget, a new app. On top of that, the robotics are always making great progress. Now we see drones delivering pizzas, 3D printers, virtual reality, robotic pets just to name a few. We even have new friends with great personalities like Siri and Alexa. How can anyone keep up?
However, there is one thing that will remain fairly steady and that is being a tradesman. Carpentry is a skilled trade in which the primary work performed is the cutting, shaping and installation of building materials. You may be able to watch 20 YouTube videos on how to cut and install crown molding but only an experienced finish carpenter can get that perfect fit. It takes skills, experience and knowledge. Unfortunately, there is no app for that. Fortunately, we are here to help.
